I am a Nick Cave fan, but the whole Grinderman thing has done nothing for me.

I agree with those statements. But Grinderman still does nothing for me.

I'm not big on repressed libidos, maybe that's why Grinderman seems to fall flat for me lyrically. At least I like this better than that No Pussy Blues single off the last record. That song was enough to turn me off the whole project last time around, but I'll give this one a listen and see if it's gotten better. There are elements of this I really do like. Musically, I think this project seems really quite good.
