Began as a gospel quartet in 1945. Changed over to country in the 70's. Country pop superstars in the 80's, reinventing themselves a bit now a mere 64 years after they started. Lineup they have now has been the same for almost 4 decades.

Not so much good as existing outside of "good." They're the Oak Ridge.

And of course it sucks, for chrissake. That's why it doesn't suck.
