Not too bad, really my first foray into the Horrors so I'm not sure how it stacks to their previous record. It has a very 80s UK sound (~Jesus and Mary Chain), which surprised me as I thought they fit more into the garage/surf genre. Also I listened on my computer today but this is one album that begs for a bigger system as I think it's a really loud album, with a serious wall of sound. Anyway that being said, the songs didn't blow me away but was overall interesting enough to keep around for a few more listens.

The Horrors Strange House

I cannot believe how qualitatively different this is from the new record. It's barely the same band, like Screamadelica compared to Give Out But Don't Give Up.

On first pass, I kind of like Strange House a bit better. It reminded me of this other surf/garage type band called Green Hornets which I quite like as well. I think I'd spin the new one again once this finishes, just to compare more directly.
