I'm just not all that pumped up about The Strokes anymore. I don't think they suck. But I can't remember the last time I put in Is This It or Room on Fire. From the iTunes samples I listened to, the album sounds a bit more energetic. I doubt I'll fork over cash for a new copy, but I might do a trade in sometime if there's nothing else to get.

And that "Razorblade" song reminds me of some 70s AC hit. Can't think of what it is.

Can anyone recommend 2 or 3 key tracks to buy? I have $32 left on my iTunes gift card.

Just bought it this evening. I got duped into buying the limited edition version for $5 more but I don't see anything really special about it aside from the packaging.

i purchased the limited edition as well. i love the design of the lyric booklet, especially the pages for "Ask Me Anything".

Agreed on that. It feels like it's straight out of a Pac-Man arcade game.

I'm not sure how I feel about the 'Razorblade' page yet, though.

That was the first reaction.

The second was "well, i don't know...".

But then the third was :wanker:.

So I'm up in the air at this point.

I'll give it a chance. Probably stop by the record store today after work. Does anyone know how much Best Buy is selling it for?

I gave this a listen last night, and it just didn't do much for me. I'm not a "huge" fan of the first two albums, but I liked both of them much better than this one. The songs on this one didn't seem to have the same level of energy of the first two albums. It kinda felt like they were just going through the motions.
