the uniforms of the orchestra are funny. the song is boring so far.

That's the first time I've seen Fallon in action in his new gig. Man, he really does suck.

Anyway, the song is actually decent. Pretty similar to what they've already done but getting a little too close to Graceland now.

The only excuse for liking this is if you have a vagina.

And even then, you better be goddamn hot.

yeah that's what i was thinking - i didn't know the orchestra had a hemp section.

not a fan of the falsetto nonsense but otherwise cool

Seriously? How does the "it has to be groundbreaking crew" like vampire weekend? Good God that song is awful. I guess if pitchfork says it's good or whoever is sending out the newsletter these days, then it must be good.

Dude looks like that NYC preppy serial killer.

The frat kids love Vampire Weekend. All my friends who liked DMB and Mayer back in 02' are calling me and telling me how they like this "indie" band - Vampire Weekend.

its a decent song. the oooohoooohh part is weird and grating. the faster versions in the live videos on the side are better though.

Now we know why Roger Federer has fallen off -- he's been busy with his band. Meawhile, the drummer is doing his best Joaquin Phoenix.

Also: Fallon is bad, but I'll watch occasionally. He had sense enough to score a good house-band* -- as when Conan got Max Weinberg early -- so reason enough.

*Regarding that: do the Roots have quality control issues? They go from putting Sasha Grey in their video to playing on Fallon's show nitely. I'm so excited... I'm so confused... I'm scared.

Their quality control is the relative nature of the inverse relationship between their obvious musical talent and their craptastic albums.

Are you referring to Dalen? I thought his taste was the equivalent to the "Buzz Music" section of the Best Buy ad where everything is like $6.99 and they have some tagline like "hear it before it gets big."

I honestly don't know how anyone can listen to this shit.

Also, if anyone really wants to see how truly horrible Jimmy Fallon is:

eh, its alright...I didn't agree with the graceland comparisons at first, but this song might as well have been a b-side.
