I got this a couple days ago, and just listened to it tonight. The best frame of reference here is to the previous album, Black Coffee, which I thought was exceptional. After one listen, it doesn't measure up. It isn't a bad album by any measure, I just wanted more. The sq is fine, and a few of the actual songs are engaging, but overall, contrary to what I've read as far as reviews, this is NOT the best of his career. If you want an up, PM me.
