God knows why, but I just spent the last half-hour setting up the brackets for our own version of March Madness, with seeds based on post count as of earlier this morning. Ideas for how to advance in the bracket are welcome, but my first thought was to base it on who has the most posts during each round's actual NCAA games. So, during that first Thursday & Friday, if frostingspoon went from 1898 to 1945 (47 posts) while aerodynamics went from 324 to 372 (48 posts) during that same time, aerodynamics would advance in a shocking first-round upset. But that's just one idea -- I'm open to any and all suggestions. Let's take a look at the bracket...

Short time-poster Busty Rhodes has officially caught the attention of the Obner media today. Rhodes was seen leaving his Madison, WI home this morning, heading to the Obner-Midwest training facitlity for morning workouts.
When asked about the recent bracket positions that were leaked by fellow Obner veteran FT, Rhodes became furious. "I have given the last two or three weeks of my life to that message board. And I don't even get a chance to go to the big dance? That's just f*cking bullsh*t!" Rhodes then punched a camera man who began to chant the word "Nerds!" over and over again.
It is not known if Busty Rhodes will attend the Obner NIT tournament this season.

ST LOUIS (AP) - northern soul pulled of the first upset of the tournament last night, beating spontaneouspoet in a surprisingly lopsided 74-58 win last night. the team captain said that this was just the first win in a run that would be remembered around the campus for many years to come. spontaneouspoet's point guard explained that they had overestemated their talent and had taken northern soul for granted, looking ahead to their next oppenent. "thats the last time i ever get a hooker before a tournament game," he said in what seemed a dejected tone. surely northern soul are a team on the rise, and not to be taken lightly by any other opponents.
