He's playing in town tonight with the full ensemble. I'm curious how that works for him and all that. I mean, I like the new album and his previous work - but I'm relapsing on a cold I've had for over 3 weeks.

Is his live show worth it? Any input appreciated.

There was a story on NPR about his tour. I've never seen him live or heard too much of his music but the story piqued my interest enough to where I would see him live if he played close by.

i think i've seen him 3 times. once at this little bar in austin for sxsw. there weren't a ton of people there and it was during the daytime but it was still pretty fun. 2nd time was opening for girl talk. last time was at that baltimore round robin show and despite him only playing 1-2 songs at a time, i enjoyed it.

it's a really fun show but i think most of the time, they're all ages shows so that can be a little annoying. it gets a little tiring too because the music is almost always super-uptempo and there's crazy lights and shit. and his green skull.

I may be in the building already for the appleseed cast show...
