Almost really liked the band's first record - some obvious mid-career XTC influences there. Couple moments kept driving me away.

But I thought this was interesting - for their new record they've got all the individual tracks posted to download and are going to let fans deconstruct, remix, contribute to the final product.

I remember Beck doing this with a couple tunes from Midnight Vultures and it was fun playing around with mixing, etc.

Gimimicky, sure, but kinda interesting.
