Fade out to Fake Empire by The National.

Show was Ok, but I thought it was kind of cool to hear this on TV. I said to the wife "Awesome, these dudes are gettin paid"

I was really surprised at how good the show was. I usually despise network cop shows, but I thought it was very well done.

Fading out with The National was great.

I'm always amused to see people from the OC in other programs for some reason. But, no, I didn't watch it.

i didn't watch it closely, but it seems like a pretty decent show. If it focuses on non-linear plots (like law & order) i'll watch it whenever i realize it's on. But if you need to watch every week to know what is going on, i'll probably skip it.

The promos made it seem like Training Day for tv, which seems kind of shitty.

No, I liked it. I'm just not sure it would translate to prime time television because it would have to be cleaned up too much.

Probably. I don't care how much they promote it as a "gritty" crime drama, if it's on network, it's gonna be bland.

Being from LA and coming from a PD-related family, I thought it was pretty good.

Ohh...and you should've seen my ears perk up when I heard The National. I was ...wait...wha da...no way...awesome!

i didn't see it, but i didn't need to, after seeing all the scenes in commercial form 20 times during the office/parks/30Rock.

speaking of Sipowicz, my wife and i got NYPD Blue seasons 1 and 2 on sale at Target for 15 dollars TOTAL. great deal. so far just watched the first 3 eps but they are awesome. great show that has held up well.

Despite my earlier bland comment, I still really dig this show a lot. Mainly because of Dennis Franz. Don't get too addicted to watching it on dvd though, there's only 4 seasons out with no plans to release the others.

rats. that's too bad. but i'm pretty sure my wife and i saw every ep of the last 4 or 5 seasons. so there's just some middle-era stuff that will be missed.
