Often, what I post on friday doesn't always match up with what my weekend turned out to be...So, I have decided to start weekend threads at the end of the weekend or on Monday morning... {accepts applause}

FRI
Fish taco's and homemade sangria.

SAT
took the baby to the local zoo, which was suprisingly nice

SUN
Went to the Chiller Convention.

Met a childhood idol!

Friday:
My Uncle/Godfather passed away on Tuesday, and his funeral was held that day in Little Canada, MN. My family and I drove up on Thursday, and I mentioned all the beer I bought that day in the beer thread.

Saturday:
We drove back to Nebraska that day. It was a long drive. I had a couple beers I bought in MN and then briefly went to the bars near me. The downtown area was quite busy and brutal due to the Nebraska Spring game.

Today:
I bought groceries, took a nap and then had a few beers while watching NBA basketball.

I doubt you'd consider trips to Trader Joe's, Barnes & Noble, and meals for one at my local sushi and Mexican joints exciting. But, I did do something fairly interesting on Friday -- I'm participating in a year long clinical research and it looks like I'm moving closer to the final 'go ahead' date. Yay!

friday: was gonna go to nyc but bailed and just went to an irish dive bar and watched the sox game, went to eat at another bar, got beers and went and hung out at the beach for a little bit and then to some other shitty bar for last call.

saturday: did nothing most of the day, went to newbury comics for record store day, went to a bachelor party (just bbq & beer), surprised myself that i wasn't the drunkest person there, went to some townie bar and played pool, went and met up with girl at a bar and went home.

sunday: went to a restaurant for my dad's 70th birthday, ran a couple of errands and then picked up girl and watched Splinter.
