yeah. i figure a night with acedemia ought to scare me drunk for a few days, and considering i've got a three day weekend it's as good a time as any.

Wax candle:

Take everyday wax paper, put it over the spill, use an iron on the wax paper and it should pick it up.

as far as the tux thing:
I'm going to the national opening of the Lewis & Clark exhibit at Philly's Academy of Natural Sciences. My girlfriend works there, and my grandmother does a shitload of fundraising for them. So they're all going and it wasn't really a choice whether or not I get to go. I was planning on not shaving at all, but something tells me a honkin' neck beard and a tuxedo don't exactly mesh all that well together. The mnoustache will probably embarrass everyone i go with, but i'm really gonna be surprised if Carrie & I are the only ones there under 50. or a millionaire. so what the fuck do i care, right?
