I finally learned how to do this a month or two back....

We have it set up on our PC and everything works fine...The high speed modem is hooked up directly to the PC, and we have a wireless router for our laptops which we use in the rest of the house.

From the looking I have done, it seems like we get the same amount of speed and connection...I am able to download music and stuff lightning quick on my macbook.

I have tried to d/l torrents on my macbook though and it never works...

I have downloaded the correct bit torrent program especially for mac, but when i go to d/l, nothing happens....

Is there a trick for mac users?

which client are you using?

i tried the client, 'transmission' but turns out my macbook is not recent enough to handle it, and i couldn't properly d/l an older version of it

aaahhh, i have issues with mininova.org on my new MacBook as well.

i just gave up and went with coda.fm for music.

any recco for movies and tv shows?

music is easy enough through blog searchs and stuff...

i want obscure horror movies, tv shows, etc...

i use azureus and get stuff from mininova and it works like a charm.

I found an old version of transmission that works with my version of mac software..giving it a shot now...

if it is a no go, i will give that a shot next!
