Ok, so you have to read this, it's insane...

-Yesterday my twin bosses leave for Vegas for their brother's wedding.

-I'm left running the spa for the weekend along with one of the twins husband.

-2 hours after they leave-Our water heater breaks. We have NO hot water in the place and really no heat now that I think about it.

-I wake up this morning to a note and set of keys from the husband under my door(my boss and her husband live next door to us) saying he's sick, won't be in today and it's now 8:15 am I just woke up and have 17 minutes to get downstairs and open the doors for the other employees.
I take a halfway shower and throw clothes on and run out the door.

-I have to cancel and move all of Tom's massage appts around, two of them show up before I can call them and I have to turn them away disappointed.

-Tomorrow is fully booked, and I mean fully.

-My brother calls(he's the one working with the water heater people) they may not be able to locate a new one in the chicago area by the end of today.

-Which means I may need to cancel about 85% of the appts on our books for tomorrow.

-Holy shit I'm actually calm as a cucumber which is surprising, but my god when it rains it pours.

And of course this HAD to happen as soon as they get on a plane.

And yet you still found time to post. I'm impressed.

So have you done anything you remedy all these issues or are you just sitting around on your computer?

Ok, so yeah, that's a lot of crap to happen at the same time, but it doesn't seem like there' s more you can do than you all ready are and you totally know it because...

Still, I hope this day comes to a close quickly for you.

My brother told me there is NOTHING I can do til he hears back from the water heater people which may not be for a couple hours.

I can't call and cancel clients til I know if they're getting the heater or not.

Otherwise all is calm here. We have no clients for another 3 hours. Reason why I can post. I'm sitting here breathing in.

The only way I would be as calm as you sound is with the help of large pills.

Soooo....

Water heater was replaced but is fucked up so we still had no hot water today, but we didn't have to cancel anything we just improvised which was annoying but we made it work.

I had my best but hardest work week known to man, best because the one twin is somewhat psycho and she hates everything right now including her husband who is the nicest guy wasn't around this week and her husband and I ran the place together the last three days. And he complimented me 50 times on the job I had done and told me that I kept making him laugh so much this weekend it made him feel better. And he told me he talked to the twins last night and told them how great I've been during all the crap. yay!!

And the best part was that THREE people who work at the spa told me today that they should make me an official manager because they think I handled the place and all the problems so well I made it easy for them all amidst the chaos!!! And then the add on they gave me was that the one crazy twin is a horrible manager and that she's making them miserable. Which is kinda the backup I need for this all(she once cornered me in a dressing room and told me how awful I was, but told me how much she loves me as a friend-her sister(my other boss) gave her hell for it thank god).

So all turned out well and it was weird how I had the best week ever there professionally because she wasn't around the whole time(her sister who is the real boss, I NEVER have problems with and she thinks I do great).

So hopefully this turns into better things for me there...
