A lot better than I expected. Didn't expect his voice to carry (though he doesn't hold his notes as long as he should/does on record, 'cause I guess he sings below his register a little) but it was pretty fucking good.

you're going to really enjoy yourself Chris. caught them last year, and i left there like "this is the best band in America right now."

seen them in every setting thinkable: small club, midsize club, theatre, shed, and large festival...they've been great every single time.

I hope so. I don't go to a lot of shows these days so I like everyone to count.

i just had to think about this. i've seen them in venues with capacities of 200, 550 and 1,100 and two festivals of 20,000 and 75,000. only at the latter i wasn't impressed. and that's because the mix was rotten and there was another band i'd never seen on another stage. but, yeah, great live band.
