Has anyone heard of the Kamikaze Hearts? They're from Albany, NY which is shocking in its own right. I'm from upstate as well and this is the only cool band from the area that I can remember since 10,000 Maniacs were good. I've heard five songs from the new record and they're all sweet.

Guyana Central High School Class of '78 is a great song, even at 9 minutes in length. There's just something about it that really strikes me.

I wonder what's up with them. The latest news on their website is almost two years old.

Goo Goo Dolls are from Buffalo. That definitely doesn't count.
