A punk band. They're pretty good actually.

Fuck. If it weren't for my Willie, I'd go Ramones.

I don't know if it is the best B&S album, but it is damn good. It is the only one of the four listed above I have listened to recently, so it gets my vote.

Voted Ramones, but I love Phases and Stages and have a soft spot for If You're Feeling Sinister.

You should've had that spot looked at before passing the pansy gene on to your kid.

Have you people even heard "Rocket To Russia"?

So this one gets all the love and "Rocket.." can barely get more votes than Jawbox. Awesome.

I hate you all.

Rocket to Russia is great, but their first album is just insane.

Yep, love it but the debut is just the tops.

It's easier to just like what sounds good than to try to maintain some sort of LIFEFAIL image of rock and roll purity, RADSILF.

nah...rocket to russia is a better album. the first album was **more important** but there's really little explanation for it being the universal favorite from their catalog. I have a soft spot for End of the Century and would put that above the debut too.

Sure, meanwhile B&S have exactly double the votes as Willie Nelson. The world is what you make it. Bastards.

It has more energy and hits harder, more immediately. The explanation for it being "universal favorite" is that a lot of people would pick "Blitzkrieg Bop", "Beat on the Brat", and "Judy Is a Punk" as 3 of their favorite Ramones songs. And it just doesn't miss for the remainder of the album, even if it doesn't maintain that same level of excellence.

I agree with you on tackling some of the popular favorites, but eventually you just start to come across as doggedly contrarian.
