Oh man, I really think I like all five of these pretty equally. Maybe Joe Jackson a little bit less than the other four.

I'll just vote Silver Apples because I feel like it'll get the least votes.

It's like any old Neil Young album will make it based on the fact that it's Neil, alone.

Not exactly. People have different Neil albums they feel strongly about that got nominated for this.

And from the looks of it, the only one that will make it past this round is Tonight's the Night.

Sleeps with Angels isn't just "any old Neil Young album", either. I think it's his best from the '90s and generally his most underrated.

I know they don't have a chance in this round but I would go with either Shellac or Silver Apples if I could make up my mind.

I think at one point it was decided that "It Takes A Nation.." was the greatest lawn mowing album of all time ( I agree)

If I had a gun to my head I'd probably go with PE but as it is, it looks like they don't need my vote so I played politics and went with Joe Jackson.

Not that I feel bad about that. "Look Sharp" might be the best album to come out of that late 70's crop of pub rock/angry young man artists. 5 Stars.

PE. One of the most defining albums of an era, and perhaps a genre.

PE here, though I'd probably pass it over if it was in another group.
