Since it's "favorite" I had to go with Pavement over Led Zep.
I just burnt out WAAAAYYYY too hard on IV when I was in high school.

Damn. Frank Black takes it, but Zep IV or Pavement could've brightened up a couple of the other shitball groupings.

I would have liked to see how this whole thing would have worked with the groupings being based off of the listmania rankings. It really seems like we killed some unbelievably great albums off early in what could have been 2nd or 3rd round brackets for this event.

I went with Zeppelin. Early FB is not my favorite and Pavement just doesn't interest me, despite years of trying.

Sweet fancy Christ, I'll NEVER understand what people see/hear in Pavement.

I went with Pavement over FB on a whim. I haven't listened to either in over five years though and would probably vote the opposite if I listened to them back to back now.

No one else likes the Chameleons UK. Odd.

I get that you are saying its basically a toss-up, but why wouldn't you just vote for FB based on that logic? Just curious.

I guess what I'm saying is that Pavement album used to be one of my favorite albums. I just haven't tested the theory that it would still stand up for me and I somewhat doubt it would. I still love FB but Teenager of the Year is not an FB album I usually grab for. I haven't listened to either in a long time and went with the one that I would have picked when i listened to both regularly even if I doubt I'd like Pavement much anymore.

But i don't really care much who wins this so i'm not gonna overthink it.

Have many people even heard Strange Times or does everyone just prefer the other albums on the list?

S&E is easily a top 10 all-timer for me.

LZIV is a classic, but just way too overplayed for me to ever vote for. Maybe if it had come up in another group.

I was actually wondering if we'd see any Zep or Pavement on the lists. I actually like III a bit more than IV but I'm glad all the same to see them up here.
