I went with murmur. I would have voted raw power over murmur but i'm not a big funhouse fan.

Just not that familiar with the Stooges record.
But I feel comfortable voting for REM because I grew up with that record and it's still pretty damn great.

like em both a lot. the recent re-issues have pushed REM to the front for me though.

Man. Couple of heavies going toe to toe.

Love 'em both but I had to go with Murmur and the local boys.

I think I tried to sit down and learn every little Peter Buck riff on that album at some point. I did not succeed. Still couldn't pick out "Moral Kiosk" or "West of the Fields".

REM in a landslide.

I'm going to abstain. I don't really have a horse in this race.

bullshit, reckoning destroys murmur, and although not technically "the stooges" raw power is the best Iggy/Stooges record

no way Dave, Murmur is far superior to Reckoning.
