So this follow up to 08's album is a welcome progression from these guys. It is a little darker, a little slower, and just a damn fine piece of work, IMO.

While there are some notable tracks throughout, my favorites have to be Blue Skies and the album's title track, First Days of Spring.

First Days of Spring is horribly melancholy and slow, but it is beautifully composed and hit it with me right from the get go. If you liked their first album, I think you'd be hard pressed not to find some enjoyable highlights in this one.
