Good choice, IMO.

I say poop on it, even if I felt from the beginning an album like it would take it all.
I now think I was more pleased with the Pixies taking it all in the previous contest than with this mehtastic album winning.
I should probably blame this on SSM.

Eh, either way I hope we are done with these shenanigans for a while.

I still love that album, so OK.

No, because they would've pushed Shins, Belle & Sebastian or Arcade Fire over the top

Yeah, that anti-radiohead faction filibustered the best choice. I listened to it again today and had forgotten how good it is, Optimistic really blew my mind.

not the best choice, by any means, but a few years ago this would have inexplicably been the meadowlands

so, let's be thankful for that

All four of the finalists were worthy and probably in my top 20-25 but this is my favorite of them and top 5 of the decade for me.

Nice job Obner.

I don't hate the Wilco, but Radiohead was my vote.

I'd rather get fucked bareback in the ear by a syphilitic rhesus monkey than ever hear either of these albums ever again.
