Voting McLusky even though I've probably only heard that album once and wasn't really impressed.

It Still Moves is horrendously overrated.

It Still Moves, besides Tennessee Fire, it has my favorite MMJ tracks.

McLusky has to be one of the most disappointing albums that a lot of good people here recommended and hyped. It. Is. Terrible.

This could almost be a good review compared to the way I feel about it.

I wonder if it speaks to the Desperation of the Suburbs or some other concept I am too obtuse to grasp?

It Still Moves is EASY top ten of this decade, besides.

Still trying to make sense of how these two statements go together.

Oh, now it makes sense.

Being the "new Dylan" is a bad thing. Of course.

It was back in the early 70s, now it is a mantle we all seek in our artists and perhaps even ourselves.

Also, stop putting that song in large font. It somehow makes it all worse.

it's fantastic and I still listen to it often. I haven't deliberately listened to an MMJ song twice in probably a decade.

I listened to it for probably the first time in a year, and I ended up playing it three times that day.

Well, now you'll never be able to welcome bluejayway back.

(Of course, she might be, like red, one of the departed Obners who still does CHAGTG. bluejayway, billzebub, & red, all dishing with Rapin' Rod.)

I really felt that McClusky would eventually put out a great album. When they're tuneful, they're pretty good. I love Alan is a Cowboy Killer (don't remember which album that's on).

But MMJ easily. That's one of my favs of the decade.
