Animal Collective, not my favorite of theirs but still leaps and bounds better than Sufjan, plus a couple of tracks that rank among my favorites, particularly Lion In A Coma, throw that song on any album and it suddenly gets a lot better.

Animal Collective, since it might reach decade important status at some point. Sufjan is quickly becoming a footnote. When the hell is he going to release another State album?

I really like both, but they have long boring middle sections...

The record that caused me to fall asleep and get in a crash in Macon, GA on I-75 going 75mph (Illinois) vs. a record that never ceases to keep me awake (AC). Although Feels should be here in its place.

i really fail to see the appeal of that AC album...sounds like theyre trying really hard NOT to have anything melodic...im all for experimentation, but geeze its also nice to groove to something now and then, and at least want to hear it again

as for Illinoise, its a fine effort, just like his Michigan album. Might not have held up too well as i dont play it much but i still think its really good. And yeah, when the hell is a new album coming out?

regardless, easy choice

Wow, I really think Brother sport and Summertime Clothes are pretty damn poppy and melodic. Any of the Panda Bear related songs on the album have melody IMO.

Two of the worst albums ever released.

A poison dart in your eye.

At this point I'm kind of at a loss as to how anyone still feels that Animal Collective sounds "experimental" and "un-melodic".
