I remember when Kings of Leon were good, before they became fashionable artistes. This album is from those times, thus it gets my vote. I like that Interpol OK, but outside like 2 great songs the rest of it gets kinda bland and samey.

KOL by a good bit. The first 6 or so tracks on this one are some kick ass rock and/or roll.

If I was into crazy hyperbole I'd vote KoL as my favourite of the decade on some nights.

A band whose lyrics I can hear (although some may say that's to their detriment) vs. a band whose lyrics I can't hear because on this album their singer sounds like he has a cock in his mouth....

Plus, I listened to Turn on the Bright Lights at least 100 times in '03 and had to turn off KOL the first time I heard it.

TOBTL is a good sleeper pick to win it all, really.

Stu is the rare GAR that enjoys PPDD more than REG ROCK. I mean, he likes the REG, but he won't be driving his truckster into a light-pole after hearing FICKLECYCLEFICKLECYCLEFICKLECYCLE.

Call me crazy, but I've always preferred Antics to TOTBL.

If you asked the question "Who has had more men piss on them from above - Carlos D or the urinals at Grand Central Station?" I reckon it would too close to call to give a confident answer.

And I've never heard that KoL album but I'll be damned if I pass up an opportunity to have a go at Interpol.

I guess I'm crazy too. Still voted for Interpol in a close race.

I don't mind Antics, but put me in the category of people who think they are getting worse with each album. Yet, I still hold out hope for the next release.
