TVOTR. I will say again, I have never had a deeper hatred for an album than I do for Dear Science, and think Cookie Mountain is nowhere near as good as the EP or Desperate Youth...but there are still moments on here that are mindblowingly good and really had me convinced for a short period of time that TVOTR might be something really special.

going single vs. single, "new slang" narrowly beats out "wolf like me" (both probably top 20 decade singles), but taking cookie over inverted here.

I'm having trouble with this one. Shins have some really catchy tunes but I've never loved an entire album. TVOTR have a really great sound and I keep having high expectations for them but I don't feel they've completely delivered yet.

Hmm, still think I'm gonna go TVOTR.

Along with Interpol, this Shins is probably my favorite horse left in the race. After the EP and first album, TVOTR took a major tumble for me. Sounds like they're just running laps.
