I went KTM but i sometimes wonder whether its really a better album than the newer ones or whether I just liked spoon more back then.

I was thinking about that recently (spurred by this thread), and relistened to KTM. It's definitely a transitional album, but it holds together as an album better than most of their albums.

I mean, every Spoon album post-Girls has a standout track or 2 that I like as much (or better than) anything on Kill The Moonlight (Everything Hits, Turn My Camera On, Sister Jack, YrCherry Bomb, The Underdog), but they don't hang together as well.

I think i mostly agree with this although the songs I like on the newer ones are different. There's a few songs I love to play from GF and GA x 5 on jukeboxes but I just don't like those albums as a whole.
