Who are your favorite arists/bands of all time? Some favorites from last year?

I'm always curious to see what the real tastemakers are into these days. You know, people with the talent to rectify going to colleges that offer degrees in building a meth lab while still being able to mentally photoshop a bigger ding-dong on themselves, all at the same time.
