Have have really not kept up with movies this decade, but this is an interesting list. Chris.
By the way, are you still trying to get a movie produced? If so, how's it going?

I have not seen any of the top 17 on your list, but I am going to try to watch (at least some of) them. Thanks for the list.

These would be in the running for my top 40. As is, a pretty mean top ten. (Not my top ten, necessarily, but if it showed up under a critic's byline, I would not loller.)

I've viewed approximately 1.75 movies out of OPA's 40.

I would have been bitching about Requiem not being on that AV list, but I thought it came out in 1999. imdb and OPA! say I am wrong. Blast.

I think the first scene disarms you into thinking that these people probably don't have the typical American hetero view of sex and sexuality. So, while I wasn't particularly "jolly" about the last scene, it wasn't exactly out of character or out of place in the movie.

It's not Willem Dafoe showed up or anything....

I miscalculated. More like 2.75. I've seen 'No Country', '28 Days Later' and most of 'Donnie Darko'.

my gf and I kinda work on a give and take system with movie watching. As in, we watch Inglorious Basterds one night, the next movie is Julie and Julia.

Whenever I can, I try to lighten the blow to my balls by trying to find female friendly films that don't make me want to kill myself.

Rent both Before Sunrise and Before Sunset and watch them on the same night. Your GF will love you.
