Saw em last night. Rocked the house with the standup bass. Just coming off of getting their asses handed to them by the Houston PD (See the Two Gallants thread.)

Anyone seen em before? Listen to em? Thoughts?

Gotta couple of songs from daytrotter.com and I am liking the sound, in fact. Came up on the ipod the other morning walking to the airport and I had to replay.

Saw him solo once and loved his performance. Like a few songs on the album, but find the rest to be pretty meh.

I guess I should see him again to see what he's like with a band.

I really fucking like his new EP. Is there a release date set for his album? and is Brian Deck doing the whole thing?

"Tipping Point" is on my next mix. Good short rambler tune.

Can anyone pop his records up somewhere? Saw him last night opening for DBT and liked him enough to be intrigued.

Thought his performance last Friday night opening for DBTs was amazing. Better than that of the truckers.

I think its probably easier to jump up and down for 30-40 minutes than to do that through a 22-song regular set. No doubt they were great. Have heard him in bits and pieces, but never really gave him a second chance since I always thought he was kinda like Hayden. Are his records as raucous? Really was digging his keyboard/banjo player guy broke a string on the banjo their first song.
