which side of the manic coin is FT currently at?
I'm guessing suicide watch and Cowboys are a sure thing loss.

You guys think the Bengals will win?
You didn't watch the game last week, did you?

Without Maualuga the Bengals Defense is similar to the Bears without Urlacher or the Steelers without Polamalu...terrible.

Cowboys over Phila
Green Bay over Cards
NYJ over Cincy
Pats over Baltimore.

basic shots in the dark as I've not followed football at all this year. too stressful of a semester.

Though being in central PA, where the larger share of the population is Philly fans, I have kept some tabs on the Eagles and am 99% sure they don't have the chops it takes to bring down a play-off calibur team. (if you look at the teams they beat and the teams they lost to, there is a definite distinction--they had a horrid record against play-off teams.)

The Bengals are 1-3 verse playoff teams this year. The lone win was a close game and 2 of the losses were ugly.

while I hardly think this is a great Eagles team, you could make a case for at least three teams making the playoffs had the Eagles not beaten them. Though one of them (the falcons) was without their starting QB, but the Eagles won games without McNabb, Westbrook and Jackson. The Saints loss I believe was the first time Kolb ever started a game.

I haven't count Baltimore as a real team since they left Cleveland.

You guys and your Cleveland love...and you don't consider the Jazz, Lakers, Raiders, A's, Rams, Colts, Giants, Dodgers, Avalanche, Stars or any other number of teams real teams either?

By the way, your Phillies used to be the Worcester Worcesters, so I guess the Phillies aren't a real team either because they left another city. Come on. Your reasoning is completely devoid of reasoning, and yes it sucks to lose a team, but Cleveland was given a team a couple years later with their colors, history and name back.

Green Bay
Cowboys
Baltimore
Jets

i'm a little annoyed that the Philadelphia A's have by far the most championships of any Philadelphia team, and haven't played a game here in over 40 years. But from what my dad tells me, we were a Phillies family even when both were here.

The fact remains that The Colts ripped the heart out of your town, and the great people of Bodymore felt compelled to turn around and do the same fucking thing. That is the logic, genius.

Oh, and I was brought up HATING, like Al Qaeda hates America hating, The Los Angeles Dodgers because they left Brooklyn. Why? Because it was part of the city's identity.

Loogs, you know and I know thats BS. Cleveland got all their crap back. We didn't want it. Tagli-booboo wasn't going to give us an expansion team, despite that we and Memphis had the best packages during the expansion. Look, I'm not saying it was honorable or anything, but it happens alot. And I don't hear all these other people boo hoo'ing over all these other "stolen" teams and hating on them. If you're from Cleveland, sure bring it on. It makes a good storyline come Sundays when we play them. But if not, get over it. If Cleveland wouldn't have gotten back their colors and history, then sure I'd feel bad and probably still be a free-agent NFL fan. But thats not how it played out.

Do the Ravens still refuse to put COLTS up for Indianapolis on the scoreboard?

Lets get a Seattle SuperSonics fan in here. None of them are pissed.

Yes. Also, the Ravens tried to get the Colts name back when Modell brought the team here to no avail.

My dad still refuses to call them the Colts. He still calls them the Irsays.

I'm just saying let's not use the "everyone does it so it's all OK" excuse. It's a bunch of bullshit, and fuck The Ravens in the goat's ass.

There are many examples of shit in sports, and your squad happens to be one of the most egregious.

Most egregious? Come on.

I'm simply using that argument as a precedent.
