Well, after a few months of unemployment, over 25 phone interviews and over 10 face-to-face interviews, I finally got a job!!!

I actually got two offers last week... one in Topeka, KS and one in Waukesha, WI.

I will be moving to Wisconsin to start my career in healthcare after working for over 13 years in manufacturing in Arkansas. The Kansas job was in manufacturing...

Any Milwaukee area Obners on here? I'm sure there are, I just haven't paid enough attention... ;-)

Thanks to everyone for all their kind words and thoughts during my job search.

Milwaukee is my hometown, I'm now in Madison. Never really hung out in Waukesha, but it's close enough to the city. Hope your move goes well and best of luck in the career change.

Careful, or you'll put on some weight here...we don't mess around when it comes to food. Kopp's Frozen Custard, Oakland Gyros, Martino's Italian Beef, Conejitos....there's good restaurants too of course.

...and yeah, winter's are rough.

milwaukee is a good town. born in those parts and lived there for a while post-college. there are more than a bunch of things to do in quick driving distance. :-)
