when atuneaday got taken down, i was up to 3600 new hits a day, many signed up with email. they took the site down without warning.

the angle that this is taking is focusing on the (few, most likely) blogs that had permission for the songs they posted - instead of the majority of illegal blogs - and google is getting at least part of the blame . Interesting to see how long it takes people to forget their indignation...

I'm friends with one of the guys who runs one of these. He posted many tracks without permission. However, he was quick to recover and said that the press has been one of the best things for increasing webtraffic to his site.
