Limited release Harpoon...brewed with actual oysters. Interesting taste, not the best stout I have ever had but a good brew

Good grief. Oysters and beer go well together in sequence- oyster, then beer, repeat as necessary- but not in the same bottle. Designer beer fuckers should have "Reinheitsgebot" tattooed on their eyeballs.

Yeah, I love stouts and enjoy oysters, went out for oysters last weekend actually. But, putting them together in a beer just sound foul.

And yes, brewers are just getting stupid with beer these days.

New Belgium's brand new Ranger India Pale Ale. Drinkin' a sixer of this tonight. It's friggin' delicious, and if you like hoppy beer I highly recommend it.

I know it's Friday, but here's what I had:

3 doubles of Jameson on the rocks
1 Don de Dieu
1 Trois Pistoles.

Harpoon doesn't do bigtime beers well. I've tried almost all of them, and they're universally mediocre. I like those guys, but only their IPA is worth picking up, and its the definition of "textbook." Thus, there's almost no chance this stout made with clam juice is worth having. (shudder)
