If someone else is paying? Sure.

I don't own one but slept on one at a hotel once. It was very comfortable. As long as they're durable I'm sure it'd be great bed. Are they crazy expensive?

My real experience/advice is this -- if you have a bad back, and the wife wants something softer than you need, then go for it. If you both like the same kind of bed - say, a Serta Pillow Top or somesuch - go with the other option.

If I could have the Kevn Garnett bed that is 3" longer and 2" wider than a Cali King, then I would go with that option, but it was twice as expensive as the Cali King.

All that said, it is easily the nicest mattress set I have ever slept on, I am just the worst type of unsatisfiable consumer.

this exactly. we have a decent inner-spring pillow top right now, but it's 7 or 8 years old now and i'm noticing that more often than not i'm waking up with that nagging low back pain. when i sleep elsewhere, i don't get it, so it's definitely time for the mattress to go. from everyone i've heard from and everything i've read about, the sleep numbers are qual and last for the long haul, so i'm definitely willing to throw down at this point.

we actually went to the store last night and the P6 will be delivered in 2 weeks. i really can't wait.

Cool! You should enjoy it. After a long day, I like to come home and pump it up as hard as it will go, and then let the air out little by little until it's soft. (No double entendres here)

I don't really have a number - I just adjust when I want to.

What size did you get? Cali King is the ish for monstas like me.
