I could be happy if "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" were the only songs ever I were to hear.

But, yes, I should explore his back catalog. That song is just so fucking good. The best Canada has ever given us. (& Canada also has given us RUSH, the "only band not to write a bad song" (per Deadspin nites & weekend editor Barry Petchesky, though I agree (& meanwhile, the Clash, from whom I only like one album (SANDINISTA) & who were the "only band to matter", what a shit-tonne of, well, shit)).

But the Clash isn't Canadian, so why bring them up (save to contrast them with RUSH).

The Clash kicks ass. London Calling and the debut never get old to me. Meanwhile, I am OK with Gordon Lightfoot being alive as long as we can be assured he will not be making new records.

Looking at Amazon last nite, there were a coupla that caught my eye: Don Quijote (though it appears out-of-print; three new copies still available at Amazon, somehow, though); If you could read my mind; & Old Dan's Records. DQ seems the one I will/should get first.

Title implies fact, not rumor. You could've at least put it in quotes.
