That would be 03. And yeah, things were dicey then as well.

I'm so tired of snow. This weather has ruined my plans two weekends in a row.

It's 30 degrees and we got and inch or so of snow overnight. You won't hear any complaints come out of my mouth. I thought it was pretty nice out today actually, but I'm sure driving on the frozen roads from the rain yesterday made it a bitch to get around this morning.

We're at around 8 inches right now, and apparently the worst hasn't even hit yet. Just south of us has a foot already. All I hear through my music is snow plows scraping pavement and backing up.

My co-worker went out to the liquor store at lunchtime and said it was mob rules. Seriously, snow makes people freak out in Maryland. We like to think of ourselves as hardy people, but when those flakes start falling, everyone forgets that we actually have winters here. Guess thats what happens when you have 2 or 3 winters without much accumulation.

Jesus you pussies. last year we got like 220 inches.

Although everyone up here knows how to deal with snow, and our municipal folks are great with removal. We get 10 inches a night and then wake up and go about our day. Seriously, we should work in porn.

See, we don't really have any snow-removal. Its all the city and counties calling up contractors being "uh...do you have a bulldozer we could borrow?"

I'm supposed to drive from VA to CT this Thursday night...what are the chances 95 will be drivable by late Thursday with all this snow the northeast is supposed to get?

supposedly the snow in northern NJ (where I am) may not stop til Thursday morning, but 95 should be totally fine by that night.

My brother left DC on Thursday and still hasn't made it back.

Yeah, its a mess. At my parents house in Bmore, they had 30" & still aren't plowed out. That's before tonight's snow. My Uncle and Aunt in DC still aren't plowed out. We got a little over 2 ft., and now about 8" so far tonight that began right as I got out of work. Luckily, this is more powdery. Schools are pretty much shut down until next week. I live too close to work to call it in. Roads are a mess though. Massive backups on I70 and 95. Lanes just disappear. Huge chunks of ice in the middle of the road, etc. This is a definite mess.

It's snowing here. Not hard, but definitely at a steady, moderate rate. And its sticking to everything. We've only had an inch or two so far and already the trees are weighted down. Gonna be a lot of snapped limbs when this is done.

Still dry in Boston, should start around noon and build up to maybe 9 inches.
