Finally listened to this..
Best of '09?
Really?
I thought it was better in 2005 when the album was called 'Silent Alarm'.
...it's totally different with the synth and shit. Fuck the hype. Fuck the game.

even its it's played through eleven tracks...

Things I did love from 2009:

Future of the Left: Travels With Myself and Another
Lightning Bolt: Earthly Delights
Sonic Youth: The Eternal
Marked Men: Ghosts
Propagandhi: Supporting Caste
The Oh Sees: Help

Yeah, I get it. It's all 'old' bands.
I've actually listened to 80% of the forgettable records posted on the board.

You Future of the Left fans and your strong opinions

Now we just need someone to start a thread like this about Grizzly Bear and Dirty Projectors

I agree. The best part about it is Jerkass shitting on terrible rekkids, while promoting other, even more terrible rekkids.

This might be the best shit show of 2010

Missed this. I really liked the live record that came out at the top of last year.

Here we go. This should revive the board once and for all.

Also... I like how Jerkass's posts start at four in the fucking morning. Maybe he woke up today and realized his musical tastes were a lot shittier than he thought.

Hey what can I say?
Most of the year-end lists are the boring balless shit that I have to endure from the local hipster radio station every day. You guys are my mainstream. Which isn't necessarily bad, just average.

Just tried listening again to that Animal Collective album. My conclusion:
Animal Collective is for people who enjoy running, laundry and going to church.
