Deserves it's own thread. I'm liking the vibe just based on a couple of listens. Expecting it to grow nicely.

I listened to this and The National in a pill induced mid afternoon nap. It was great. Nice slow summer night vibe. Pass the mirror.

Yeah, I had to drive out to Augusta today in the rain and this, the National, the Black Keys and several podcasts did the trick.

Like the National, I'm not really a big fan of these guys either but I tend to like this kind of music so why not give it a try? Definitely better than the last one, but no tune to grab me by the lapels either. I'll probably give it another spin or two.

this is officially a pass for me. not feeling more than a couple songs on this. sam beam does the voice and the beard better, and it's just a bit too center of center for me to get with it. not bad at all, just not my thing.

Were driving to snuff out a Portugeuse photographer named Lacerda?

Had one listen the day it leaked and it was enjoyable. Pretty much just sounded like another BoH album, and I dug the first two.

I am digging the album a lot. I think they have gone to a more country sounding vibe on this album, but not in a bad way. Will be one of my 2010 best, I think.

Yeah there's not as much of the big distorted guitars and a much more chill vibe overall. It's working for me.

yeah, nothing really grabbed me on first listen. i'll give it a few more spins but i think it's a step back from their other albums.

I'm going for my first full listen right now. I'm only on Laredo so I haven't even gotten to the stuff that didn't hit the internet, but from the bits and pieces that I've heard (the song Infinite Arms came on shuffle the other day) it's pretty solid so far.
