Well, its about time to get the season started officially with the draft.

Hoping the Ravens can pull it together to finally get back to the SB this year. I think we'll pick up a CB in rd.1 tomorrow. I'd like to get one more WR to cement that Flacco always has someone to throw to.

Also: Big Ben LOL

They signed Leftwich, so if she is, he better get his money back. He's still no. 3 to get the starting position behind the aforementioned Leftwich and Dixon.

I like that the Lions are probably going to get Suh on D to go along with their Stafford/Megatron combo on offense. The Lions are definitely my favorite shitty team.

As for the Falcons, they need OL & DL, same as they do every year.

steelers should go for some OL, a wideout and hopefully someone who can make a tackle on special teams. maybe they'll take that fordham QB late too.

Interesting, but the Bills are just as "family-friendly" as the Rooney fam. Why Tebow is perfect there. I could see Raiders trading a top 10 pick for him (which is the minimum asking price for Ben). What a year it would be with the Donovan->'Skins, and Ben to another teams. Sheesh.

With 2 SB rings in what 4 years? Pittsburgh should legalize rape before they ditch Rothlesburger.

Yet in both forums, you'd still be on the short end of the brains and wit stick. Funny how that works, huh?

1. Don't click on a thread if you know what its going to be (i.e.--a sports-related thread). As much as a band named NFL/MLB/NHL 2010 is possible, you can be assured it probably isn't MR.

2. At least we're not mucking up another thread with this discussion.

I can barely watch ESPN right now due to the ridiculous overkill coverage of the draft.

I'm mildly interested to see where a few guys go but not enough to put up with Berman for 4 hours. I'll be glad when it's over.

No real surprises other than Tebow going before Clausen. Also, the Ravens trading that pick for 3 more picks. SOzzie, you've never let me down before. Actually kinda excited about this. Perhaps he levying a deal to trade 2 of the 3 for a WR. Who knows.

i'm not surprised that the steelers took pouncey, even though i thought it was a bit early for a center. although, they do need OL help.

and the lions use blesto scouting, so they get the same information as buffalo, jax, miami, minnesota, nyg and the steelers. yet it seems their internal drafting team can't seem to ever use that information to its potential.

You're all unbelievably lucky my hard drive died at my home computer. I would have done pick by pick posts during the first round.

It's a shame all that Big 12 talent can't buy a BCS title, especially at OU. I know they got bit by the injury bug, but with that much pro potential, you'd at least think they could have beaten everyone but Texas last year.

I'm done with the Broncos with the Tebow pick, since I'm a fairweather NFL fan anyway, I'll jump on the Lions bandwagon with Suh and Vanden Bosch.

Was I the only one struck by the Broncos selection as a reach of the same magnitude as "Maurice Clarett, third round"?

& maybe the UGA boys can answer, but what of The Messiah & Knowshon in the same locker-room? Know's Dominican or something -- maybe I'm just confused by the last name -- so is he going to siv Tebow before training camp's out?

If Jimmy Clausen went ANYWHERE but Notre Dame, he'd have been drafted in the first 15 picks - probably top 10.

really? doesn't notre dame usually bump draft stock due to visibility?

maybe he shouldn't've let gruden destroy him during that interview the other night. dude was too tough on clausen.
