I decided to go with a used Les Paul Classic that had a really nice feel to it. What's more, it's in great condition and it was a real bargain. All in all it was less than 1300, and with a trade of an 87 Les Paul Studio I only had to pay 900 something in cash. Really, really happy with the deal. I think it's an 01 (serial number is 01xxxx...usually with the standards I know the year is split 1st and 5th digit, but I think with the classics the serial number works differently)
