riyl: the rapture, a grittier phoenix, etc.

i saw them open for miike snow a few weeks ago. they were totally fine, but their songs seemed to go on and on. they'd be good at 4 minutes, tops.

It's much more Cut Copy than Phoenix. Probably why I don't like them.

When I saw this Delorean group pimped in hipster circles as an electronic-rock band, I was always perplexed because I thought it was this Portland-based alt.country-rock band Dolorean who sang "Violence in Snowy Fields" and 'The Search' (both of which I've always liked a lot) who had done a 180 and discovered 90s electro/house.
