I finally got a chance to listen this morning, and what a nice album it is. Cabic went tunneling pretty deep for some of these songs. The cover of Garland Jeffreys' Lon Chaney is almost as good as the original, and ANYONE who covers a Biff Rose song these days deserves a major pat on the back from me. Biff has been crazy as a run over chicken for ages (clinically, not figuratively), but way back, when he decided to write a ballad, he could do it as well as anyone.
