I need to remember 300+ cd's that I had in my car until 2 nights ago when someone broke in and stole them all.
It's proving challenging

Just remember 300 cds that you want in your collection whether you had them before or not. I could think of 300 cd's that I want to be stolen, so I could replace them with better ones.

I went all over town to the used CD stores and gave them a list to look out for. Never heard a peep. I'm sure they were pawned or sold on Ebay by some thug.

If you don't have insurance anyway, I wouldn't worry about developing a comprehensive list. Just download the stuff as you realize its missing. If you go a long time without realizing its missing, you probably don't really need it anyway.
