Anybody familiar with New Variety Playhouse for shows?

there's no new variety playhouse...its the same old one.

one of my favorite venues in Atlanta and one of the best mid size venues in the country.

Thinking of coming for a show Toze?

One of the cooler moment I've experienced there was New Years Eve 2003 (?) for the Drive By Truckers. About 11:45pm some of the bartenders came out into the crowd with trays of small dixie cups, giving them out. It wasn't champagne............it was about 2 oz worth of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Variety is in Little 5 Points as well so there are restaurants and bars all around the venue to hang out in pre and post show.

Okay, that seals it. I'll be at a 7/22 show. And, Derris, I know Little 5 Points, so mebbe I won't get totally fucking lost.

Absolutely. I realize it wouldn't be a show with any interest to all you young bucks and buckesses here, but she hardly ever tours U.S., and has been on my "before-I-die" list for a long time.
