They look like Sanuks.

Which is all the rage around me. Personally, I'll stick with my Toms.

To me "take it easy footwear" sounds suspiciously like it would mean "shoes that won't hold up for shit if you walk around in them for a few days".

Not that I would even come close to entertaining the idea of buying these anyway.

For the non-discriminating beer drinker with no Bic lighter or key-chain bottle opener on hand:

That little idea sold them a shitload of flops.

They also have a version with a flask in it as well. Novel idea that I might have entertained when I was 20 but I couldn't see myself taking off the flop and pouring hot foot bourbon over ice at this point.

I stole the ones on the left from my little brother and wore them for about a year until they wore off. The novelty value alone is tremendous, drunk people would be amazed when I opened beer bottles with them.

Yeah, I dig mine. Plus, you buy a pair--a kid gets a pair, so its a good cause.

I rock these:

They're super comfortable, and they look good in shorts or in jeans. Personally, I wear them without the laces. They have elastic on the inside so, they don't slip off.

Yeah, some of those styles are horrible. I like the "plain" styles. Those squiggly line ones are horrendous.

I have to admit I would totally buy those beer shoes if I hadn't just dropped $80+ on these little pieces of joy a couple of months back:

Do you run, or kayak in those? My bro-in-law has some, and last summer when I was doing some stuff in the river I nearly got some.

They are ideal in either of those situations. If you wear them day-to-day

I really like my Sanuks. These days, I'm wearing one of these two, socks be damned. I do have laces in the Sanuks to avoid the Nursing Home Retrieval Staff.

One of my kids had a pair of those when they came up to visit a couple weeks ago. Creepy. Fucking creepy.

they are mad atrocious but I see someone running in them at every single race. I'm not about to buy some but they are intriguing.

They are huge in the kayaking community (along with Keens). Its also a movement in running to run barefoot. Its about as close as you can get. Basically, it just protects you from glass and pebbles on the pavement.
