IMO The Dreaming is her artistic apex. The one after was the commercial high point (Hounds Of Love, which is where "Running Up That Hill" comes from), but it was horrendously marred by the 80s production touches. Her debut The Kick Inside was decent pop, but her childlike vocals were close to a bird's squeak at that point.

After Hounds of Love I completely lost interest. Duets with Peter Gabriel, conceptual videos, adult contemporary muzak... not my cup o' pee.
