Remember that episode where Elaine talked Jerry and George to accompanying her to dinner with J. Peterman? She backed out at the last minute, then Jerry made up and excuse and took off, leaving George alone with Peterman.

The question is this: do you think Peterman picked up the check?

was it peterman? or was it her dad? and/or.

There was an episode that put Jerry and George in a similar position with her dad, but i'm wondering about the Peterman one.

peterman seems like the kind of guy who'd pick up a check. however, the other person's also george.


in the episode with peterman, jerry got out of it. in the episode with her dad, he didn't. and then her dad called him a nancy for wanting to wear his suede jacket inside out in the rain.

Ah, but he is also a whackjob who clips coupons for plant food.

Peterman seemed the type of guy to not even notice the check being delivered and then silently walking out of the restaurant leaving the other party to pay.

Most likely scenario, bravo.

If I may add, he'd have a faraway look in his eyes & would be muttering something about the pigmies of Borneo.

Then he'd spend the rest of the night with his Ziggy archives.
