Gonna post some albums. If you love/hate them, let's hear why. If you haven't heard them, download, and leave comments.

When I want to reminisce about my childhood, driving around in a car with teenagers from my neighborhood, stoned out of their minds, and making out with the "cool older girls", this is my go-to album.

And, the guitars. Probably why I love Maiden.

At first: I loved it.... the guitars.
Then, I became too cool (I thought) to love it anymore, and only listened to Underground Rock. So I hated it out of principle, but never really listened to it anymore.
Then, I had kids and heard how they loved it, and I heard it again through their ears, for the first time all over again. And I remember why I loved it:
THE GUITARS!

(Did anybody mention the guitars?)

A little overplayed, but undeniably awesome.

This one is hard for me to judge because I've heard it so many times. There's no denying it's a classic and great record but I certainly never need to hear it again.

But... how long has it been since you've sat down and listened to the entire album? That's the game-changer.

I don't think I've ever heard the whole album actually.

One of the few classic rock albums I own and enjoy.

It has been a while since I've done that. I still hear about half the songs on a semi-regular basis since classic rock radio is virtually inescapable around here.

I understand. But still, even hearing those songs, in context with the other half of the songs that you haven't heard in a long while can be a revelation. It was with me and Clapton's Layla album. And Born to Run, too. Puts an entirely new face on those tired, old songs. DL and try it. Then check back, I am curious to hear if it does anything for you.

Downloaded it, but I don't know when I'll get around to listening to it. I don't think I've ever heard the whole thing.

That album cover has always evoked a deep sense of loathing from me, but I'm still willing to give this thing one complete listen even if I can't say I've ever really liked a Boston song very much.

Someone gave it to us on vinyl, new pressing, 180 gram stuff. It sounds really fucking good, and the pictures of those guys back then... geek central. I was amazed at how many of those songs were fucking enormous hits.

A bunch of songs that were already cliches in 1976 with a soulless production gloss that effectively ruined rock radio forever. Good call, guys.

Now I understand.

I never dug the album on any level. Whenever the songs come on the radio, its always an instant change. Sorry. We'll just agree to disagree on this album.
