Thanks! You too.

I'm getting ready to go pick up my kids.

took my daughter to the playground (for about 15 minutes...it's a million degrees outside already) and then out for a chocolate milk. it was a good day.

I think most of the Facebook dads I wished a Happy Father's Day to are Obner dads, but nonetheless, happy day you Obner daddy-o's.

No, we did stuff I knew they liked (went to KFC, to the park, etc.). Seeing them happy and have fun is the best day I could ask for.

How about you, toots?

I got a June-July calendar that my wife made on Shutterfly featuring photo's of our daughter's first year (since she was born in July, this works out nicely).

It's really cool and amazing.

Those guys who "won" their paternity tests on Maury Povich don't know what they're missing.

I LOL'd.

Congrats and "good job" to all the ObPapas. A job I can't begin to fathom, both in its joys and challenges.

I got a sweet new bicycle, which required me to buy a bike carrier, and then buy a seat to carry the kid on the back. The entire family went biking for 2+ hours. The 4-year old did great on her tiny bike with the training wheels. (Except when we stopped for water and she rolled down a hill and into some bushes. She panicked and forgot to brake. lol)

Took Sébastian and my pops to Disney for the first time yesterday for Fathers day. We ran around Tom Sawyer Island like maniacs, killed off pirates, cracked up at the horrendously dressed British tourists, ate good, and sweated our asses off. Awesome time.

I got my first taste of the realization that Father's day has absolutely nothing to do with me. My wife planned a day of pretty much everything I wouldn't want to do and called it father's day.

Luckily, I didn't have to worry about that. Definitely a benefit of being a single parent.
